Your Photos Never Leave Your Phone

1. Information We Do Not Collect

When you grant PhotoWipy permission to access your photo library on iOS or Android, that permission is utilized exclusively within your device's local memory environment. We do not transmit, copy, or upload:

• Your photos, videos, Live Photos, or screenshot captures.
• Geotag metadata (EXIF location, coordinates, addresses).
• Facial recognition data or biometric signatures.
• Timestamps, filenames, or directory paths.

2. Local Neural Engine Processing

To provide visual similarity detection (finding near-identical burst shots and duplicates), PhotoWipy uses on-device algorithms executed directly via Apple's CoreML / Neural Engine or Android's NNAPI. All mathematical calculations take place in volatile memory and never produce remote telemetry.

3. Photo Deletion & Safety Buffers

PhotoWipy never irreversibly deletes files on its own authority. When you approve a batch deletion:

1. PhotoWipy instructs the operating system (iOS PhotoKit or Android MediaStore) to flag the items.
2. Your device moves them to the system Recently Deleted trash album.
3. You retain a 30-day operating system recovery period to restore any item if desired.

4. Minimal Anonymous Diagnostics

To ensure app stability and debug memory crashes on older phones, we may receive aggregate, anonymized crash reports via Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console (e.g. "App crashed on iOS 17.2 with memory allocation error"). These logs contain zero personal information and zero photo data.
